Bio
I'm a 20+ years experienced programmer in several computer languages on multiple operating systems/computer platforms -- Commodore 64, Commodore 128 (and first learning BASIC as a result,) MS-DOS, Windows 3.11, 95, 98, XP, Vista, 7, Linux, FreeBSD(my favorite), UNIX/POSIX, DR-DOS, and finally QNX. The programming languages I have learned are a smattering of many which include: BASIC, C, C++, C#, Fortran, Fortran 77, Fortran 95, HTML, Java and a few others. In higher learning, I studied Electronics Engineering Technology as a major, with Sociology as well as Economics as a minor. Often, I think the major and minor(s) should have been the other way around, but since I also had two years of training in Electronics Theory, Design & Repair, it wouldn't have made much sense. Ultimately, I was unable to obtain a degree in any of it, but that's a long story. Still, I find Sociology, Economics & Politics far more interesting.
