Bio
I hold an MFA in Creative Writing through Northwest Institute of Literary Arts, Whidbey Island, Washington. I am the author of the historical novel The Last of the Blacksmiths and the memoir How We Survive Here. I also love teaching and learning, and am an adventurer at heart -- hiking, bicycling, exploring history and even on occasion blacksmithing.
