Clearly I'm an obsessive compulsive....how else would I have acquired so many tea sets I could be buried alive under them....I also make hats that have their roots in the twenties.
I'm a happy obsessive compulsive if that's what I am. Vintage floats my boat, especially if it's got a whiff of the twenties about it....hemlines went up, girdles were off and ladies started getting their first real taste of liberation.....that's why I love the twenties....and there were the tea parties.....I recall my nan (who grew up during the twenties) bringing out her finest china when friends came round and I joined them as they ate dainty sandwiches and wonderful cakes, it was a real tradition for her and I was in awe of this ritual as a little girl....when she passed away she left me her silver teaset....and that's where all this started.
