אני פסיכולוגית התפתחותית, משמשת בשנים האחרונות כראש תכנית תואר שני בחינוך לגיל הרך במכללת לוינסקי לחינוך ומלמדת במכללה זו משנת 1989. כל חיי המקצועיים עסקתי בהכשרת גננות, מורות לכיתות א' וב', מנהלות מעונות יום ומטפלות למסגרות חינוך לגיל הרך. במקביל טיפלתי בילדים צעירים והדרכתי מקרוב את הוריהם. כתיבת הבלוג מונעת מהצורך והעניין לתרום לשיפור מתמיד בתנאיי חייהם של הילדים. תחומי העניין והמחקר שלי הם: התפתחות וכישורת חברתית, טיפוח אוריינות באמצעות קריאה חזורת, ניהול כיתה, למידה ותיווך בגיל הרך, סוגיות מיוחדות בחינוך ובטיפול של תינוקות ופעוטות( בחירה, הצבת גבולות והקניית הרגלים, חינוך לניקיון, למידה בגיל הרך ומשחק, התמודדות עם בעיות התנהגות, טיפוח כישורים חברתיים ועוד).
I am Clodie Tal , a developmental psychologist and I have been involved throughout my professional life in Teacher Education in general and in Early Childhood Education and Care in particular. The preparation and in-service "training" of caregivers and teachers working with young children are perceived by me as an ongoing preventive intervention; as means of improving the conditions of life of young children coming from diverse backgrounds and for improving the odds for those coming from unprivileged backgrounds to build meaningful lives. I have a PhD in Psychology from Bar-Ilan University, Israel and A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. I am currently the Head of the Master's degree in Early Childhood Education at the Levinsky College of Teachers' Education –Tel Aviv, Israel. Before that I headed the Bachelor's degree in Education at Levinsky College of Education and have been involved in extensive in service training in communities throughout Israel. My main areas of interest which are also the focus of my research are teacher-child , teacher-parents relationships, teachers' values, promoting children's social competence, classroom management and teacher-children dialogic discourse in general and in focused on children's picture-books in particular.
