Bio
Hello My Friends,
My name is Heidi I am 42 year old stay at home mom, who happens to be married to the most fantastic man. We have a great life, 2 adorable children (Aidan 5 and Zoey 3 1/2) and a really nice home on the greatest block (Wisteria Lane cannot hold a candle to our block) .
I am a shopaholic. Or at least I’m a recovering shopaholic. I truly believe that my shopping addiction is genetic. I watched my Mother spend my father’s hard earned money like it grew on trees. Her spending habits were so bad that they were forced to sell my childhood home. To clarify things we are far from that point. But, if I don’t do something to nip this in the bud I can easily see us going down that road.
I have never been great at following through with things, I mean I NEVER follow through. My home is evidence of this lack of commitment, there are tons of little projects laying around that I had started and never quite got around to finishing, maybe I’ve lost interest, got sidetracked, whatever the case may be the outcome is still the same. When I start these things I have all intentions of finishing them but it never quite works out that way.
I have decided to start this blog as a way to organize my thoughts and ideas and track the progress of the projects I start and hopefully change the outcome, by that I mean finish what I start. Let’s face it, there are a ton of blogs out there telling you how to organize, whether it’s your life, your house, your job, whatever it is, they make it sound so easy that we’re all like,”Yeah, I can do that!” then, halfway through trying to organize all those things following their “Easy” how to guide you realize,”I’m just not that organized and probably never will be.” That’s ok, I’ve come to realize that I am perfectly imperfect, and that’s fine with me!
I have broken down some of my goals.
Lose 45 lbs
Spend more wisely and use coupons whenever possible
Put at least $1,000 into savings before the end of the year
Finish all Holiday shopping by October 31st
Get Organized
Finish unfinished projects
sometimes it is more fun to repent with the sinner than pray with the saint – so tune in for bargains and newly discovered tricks.
Love,
Heidi
