Bio
Writer. Oy, like I couldn't have been something easy like a neurosurgeon or an economist or mother of quintuplets. I've tried so hard to escape this writing stuff, but it has dogged me and haunted me until I've finally surrendered. I read, write, fiddle with the camera, the easel and paints, and eat far too much chocolate. The only thing that makes me more cranky than not getting my chocolate is not writing. That's really tough because I'm not a first-draft genius. Re-writing is where I start to get my act together--slowly, painfully, compulsively, and ultimately one step closer to something that doesn't make me panic for fear of defeat.
My primary motto is "whatever it takes," with a secondary motto I picked up from watching "House": "Either be good, get good, or get out." I'm not getting out.
