Bio
Dana is the Founder and Managing Partner of Evolutionary Business Solutions, LLC, a business advisory practice dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners manage all aspects of their business so they may once again experience the joy that comes with owning their own company.
Evolutionary Business Solutions, LLC, was founded on the philosophy of relationship consulting in which the client is the business owner, not the business. EBS advisors seek to truly understand the needs of the owner as well as the business because for entrepreneurs, both are completely intertwined. With this foundation, EBS advisors create lasting relationships where they work side-by-side with business owners to design and implement the right marketing strategies and operational improvements that will allow their companies to adapt, evolve, and prosper.
Dana brings to her clients executive leadership experience and a strong reputation for challenging the status quo in a way that combines analytics and theory with experience and practicality. An operations and efficiency expert, she has the proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans focused on continuously improving processes, product quality, and customer service.
Most recently, as Director of Slot Operations for Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, Dana oversaw an operation that generated $375 million in annual revenue in one of the most highly regulated industries in the country. There she led a team of 77 diverse employees in an unprecedented economic climate through a departmental restructuring and reduction in force, yet managed to revitalize the team by transitioning the culture to one of open communication, accountability and strategic thinking. Together they implemented a portfolio of initiatives that resulted in over $100K in annual savings and the department’s highest customer service scores to date.
Prior to that, as a President’s Associate at the property, Dana contributed to over $3.5 million in savings as the Site Lead/Specialist for the roll out of a company-wide LEAN-based process improvement initiative, leading over twenty Toyota Production System (TPS) kaizen events. She completed a cash management analysis which included inventory level recommendations that created over $350 million in disposable cash for Harrah’s Entertainment and achieved a 65% ROI as the project manager for the World Series of Poker Circuit Event.
Dana received her M.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing and Operations Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated with Highest Honors from Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ with B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics. She is a certified Subject Matter Expert in Toyota Production Sys
