Bio
I'm the owner of Weir Marketing, providing frank, affordable marketing advice to help your organisation stand tall.
I began my career back in the 90s in advertising, PR and sales promotion. After a brief spell as a Corporate Fundraiser for the charity Mind, I moved to BBC Education and ran their Marketing Services department, before being appointed Brand Marketing Manager. This involved challenges like setting up a pan-BBC Design Agency Roster and sorting out all manner of issues relating to BBC-owned brands.
After a career break to have children, I took on roles at the Environment Agency, CLIC Sargent (managing the marketing for their Tesco Charity of the Year partnership) and, more recently, with local charity Readathon.
