Bio
I don’t remember who taught me - or when I started - to read. But I do know that my parents gave me a book for Christmas every year - beginning when I was probably 5 years old - until I was about 18 years old. Oh how I wish I had kept them all!
I’ve been a ski instructor, a ski shop manager, a burger flipper, and a retail manager. One of the constants of my life, however, has been books. There has been at least one book within my reach every single day of my life, and I’m generally in the middle of reading at least two books at the same time.
So! Reading! Books! I’m a huge fan!!
And now here I am *??* years later ... an author! I can scarcely believe it as I sit here writing a bio for my author website!! My very first book - a children’s picture storybook - was released in April of 2021. I am currently working on a new children’s book.
I was born in the Midwest, raised in Southern California, and now make my home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, with my husband. I have 5 grownup kids, and a growing mob of grandkids. And yes ... if you’ve seen the title of my first book ... I have dogs. We have a Golden Retriever and two Chihuahuas.
