Bio
We are an average working husband and wife team that have a love for eating and cooking food. We both enjoy cooking for other people and creating new ways to enjoy some classic dishes. We are not big on pricey ingredients and love to throw something together using average ingredients that the average person would either have in their kitchen or could access at reasonable prices from an everyday supermarket.
We both have very different ways of cooking and presenting food but both like to achieve the same goal of tasty food that doesn’t cost a fortune or is too complicated to put together. We also both like taking classic dishes and mixing them up to create other dishes that can be enjoyed by all.
Nothing is worse than being faced with a humongous list of ingredients when you see a recipe that takes your fancy especially when the said list is mega expensive cuts of meat, herbs that you wouldn’t know where to get or just ingredients you have never heard of. Don’t get me wrong, we both enjoy eating in fine restaurants and love the choice of dishes available when doing so, however, we are normal people who like to cook normal food with normal ingredients but just make it taste good 😜
