Bio
Brief Bio
I set sail as a songwriter after winning an international songwriting contest I read about in the Wall Street Journal, in search of a theme song for Wichita, Kansas. "You'll Feel Wichita" launched a lifelong pass-time as a lyricist that has earned four ASCAP Popular Arts Awards, commissions for original songs at the National Democratic Issues Conference ("We Give Democracy It's Name") and The Indiana AIDS Memorial ("Once Again"). He's written over 20 songs with$ the 'Folk Princess of Pop', Melanie, and collaborated on two Off Broadway reviews, while performing in New York with Interplay and The Nationa Improv Theater, which I co-founded.
In 2012,I won a Director's Award in the Na+shville Int'l Love Song & Lyric Contest with "February-Fourteenth Day"; hit Broadjam's Top Ten List in Country-Religious Genre, title: "I Have Seen the Angels Singing" and I'm currently adding music to my lyrics to "When I Am Free" for the National Hospice Foundation.
BTW: Two songs on iTunes now are: "A Little More Country"sung by David Melby-Gibbons,
and "Make Sure You Make It Christmas" music & vocals by Dog-n-Butterfly's Sean Clegg
