Bio
I love this Blog name because I am a recovering Sunday Christian. For 20+ years of my career in Health & Beauty Care/Pharmaceuticals, Software and Transportation, I lived two different lives. On Sunday, I genuinely pursued discovering and growing a deeper relationship with Jesus. But on Monday, I went right back to the way the world had trained me to act and lead. I was not a bad person. I tried to lead ethically. I tried to develop relationships at work. But at the end of the day, I live a compartmentalized life. And, I believe that a large majority of people in our churches today have a very similar story.
My calling five years ago to leave my VP, Sales /Marketing role at J.B. Hunt Transport to take on the leadership role at WorkMatters has been in the makings my whole career. I was just building my war chest of experiences. Now, I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to be used by God to open the eyes of thousands of people to be the same person on Monday that they are on Sunday!
