Bio
Why hello everybody!
My name is Dave and like many other Melbournians, have a soft spot for all things music. In my quest for rock stardom, I have stumbled into more avenues to immerse myself completely in the music-loving Melbourne culture.
Coming from a journalism background, both in study and in practice, I figured out there other ways to get your fill of all things music besides playing it. While I still get a kick out of playing guitar and the occasional yelp, I am setting out to put my talents at writing and general rambling to good use.
You can hear me on Monday nights as I present The Hoist on Syn, either 90.7FM or www.syn.org.au, or check out some of my writings on www.paper-deer.com (under the pseudonym, Charles D. Roper). Of course, I'll be letting you know where you can see me playing as well.
