Bio
Darrell B. Harrison is a native of Atlanta, GA. In January 2024, Darrell joined the pastoral staff at Redeemer Bible Church in Gilbert, Arizona, after serving the previous five years at Grace to You, the media ministry of Dr. John MacArthur. He is a Fellow of the Black Theology and Leadership Institute (BTLI) of Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS) in Princeton, New Jersey, and a graduate of the Theology and Ministry program at PTS.
Darrell studied at the undergraduate level at Liberty University, where he majored in Psychology with a concentration in Christian Counseling, and was the first black person to be ordained as a deacon in the 200-year history of First Baptist Church of Covington (Georgia), where he attended from 2009 to 2015. Darrell is an ardent student of Reformed theology, and enjoys reading Puritan writers such as Thomas Watson, John Flavel, and Richard Sibbes. Darrell is an advocate of expository teaching and preaching and has a particular passion for seeing expository preaching become the standard within the Black Church.
