Bio
I am an artist by avocation and a specialist in effectiveness of all kinds, by nature and training.
As an artist, I go by the name Debbie Gilbert, my name of birth, since I was born with whatever genetic traits lead in search of creative pursuits. A have always held onto the reality that some day I would actually be able to create and show my work. It held out before me, a goal to be achieved, yet I never started to embrace it or earn it until nearly 2 years ago. Since then, I have shown my work in many juried and community settings, mostly in CT, and one show in Boston.
I am currently a nutrition student, expecting to complete my courses in May of 2012. I hope to combine my education and experience in the training arena with the content of nutrition and health, to work in community health education. I would also like to work with cancer patients to help them learn to eat for optimal health.
