Bio
I worked as an Occupational Therapist in mental health, and retired two years ago. Ihave always made clothes, and used to knit a lot on a Passap double bed knitting machine. Then I renovated a Bergman loom which had belonged to a great aunt in the US. I have her spinning wheel as well. It is an 8 -shaft loom and probably not really for beginners. I have really enjoyed my first year exploring and learning. Blogging has been a fantastic inspiration and support. I live in the south of England.I'm also interested in theology and philosophy...I have a butterfly mind and rush into new activities. I'm not a natural craftswoman as I have not perfected the art of moving slowly and finishing off. One could say I am enthusiastic (but I long to learn patience and to produce something I am really proud of!)
