Bio
I am the administrator of Independent American Communities (IAC), a Housing Consumer Education blog. IAC documents legal, social, and economic challenges in U.S. association-governed common interest communities, commonly known as homeowner associations (HOAs). Independent American Communities documents harm to housing consumers and taxpayers, based upon two erroneous but widely believed concepts: that CIDs and HOAs protect property values, and that the common interest community model somehow saves local governments money.
