Bio
Deb Palmer lives in Yakima, Washington with husband Sandy. Their book, “In Spite of Us—A Love Story About Second Chances,” is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Their story pokes the addiction bear that hibernates in a cave you might find uncomfortably familiar. The purpose of the book is simply to share God’s grace and patience for a couple who wallowed in all the wrong places. Deb freelance writes for numerous print and online literary magazines. Here are a few takeaways from the book...
God is clearly the hero of the story. We are merely bit players (promising comedic relief) in the grand divine scope.
God loves us here and now and He has incomprehensible patience and persistence in the pursuit of our hearts.
Most of what we treasure and cling to in this life is balderdash.
The bit players in this story are either familiar, living next door, seated at your holiday dinner or maybe in your mirror.
Seeking God is addictive in the best way imaginable and magnificently rewarding.
God transforms lives— the proof is in the book.
