Bio
Gail resigned from teaching and administration in May 2010 to pursue her desire to develop an educational program that connects youth with the world and to promote a love of learning. She started Dedicated to Make a Change, L3C, fall of 2010.
After twenty-seven years as an educator, who focused upon adolescents, Gail has learned education creates education. Education creates a love of learning. Learning happens each time passion is addressed. Many hundreds of adolescents have shown and taught her the meaning of each of the words in education is the most important thing in your life.
Gail taught at Campus West/College Learning Lab and Nichols School in Buffalo New York and Greenhills School in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Gail is a board member of these local and national nonprofit organizations: the Jim Toy Community Center, and National Association of Multicultural Education, NAME.
Gail presents workshops on these topics: Youth Leadership, Bullying, TBLGA support, Service Learning programs after Hurricane Katrina, Experiential Learning, Community Organizing
Gail has lived in Ypsilanti for 19 years. She is a mom, stepmom, and an adopted mom, a partner, and a community citizen.
