Bio
Amateur Researcher of Programming Language Theory
Born in San Francisco, California.
B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University, New Haven, CT, May 1994.
Currently residing in Tokyo, Japan.
Occupation: Translator (Japanese to English)
Plan: To lift RL into VR.
Project: More specifically, to lift the functions f of the small category of real life RL into equivalent functions f' of a small category of a virtual reality generator VR, such that there is a homomorphism h: RL -> VR; i.e., such that, for each f in RL, h(f) = f'.
In Plain English: How about ordering your RL pizza, working your RL job, and paying your RL bills all in an alternative version of VR Second Life? No need to get out of bed in the morning (or evening, in case you are also a night owl).
Favorite Programming Languages (as of Friday, January 23, 2009, at 19:03 Tokyo time)): Haskell, Qi II, PLT Typed Scheme, PLT Scheme, Refal
Favorite Programming Paradigm: functional
Favorite OS: Macintosh OS X
