Bio
I am a retired environmental scientist who worked for the Ontario Ministry of the Environment for 31 years around Queen’s Park in Toronto. During that time, I developed policy, enforced legislation and carried out environmental research. As a result, I developed a good understanding of the workings of government. Upon retiring, I wanted to find a way to change how governments operate in Canada. Involvement in political parties proved useless because politicians do not want to change anything. To kickstart change, I decided to write a book: “How to Fix Canada’s Broken Democracy”. To reach a broad spectrum of Canadians, I wrote a French version: “Comment réparer la brisure dans la démocratie canadienne”. These books explain how our political system was broken and ways to fix it.
