Bio
I am a licensed professional counselor working with families of children with special needs since the late 1960's. I had a private practice as an educational diagnostician in the Washington, DC area from the 1970's through 2000. I co-founded the non-profit, Developmental Delay Resources (DDR) in the mid 1990's to respond to the epidemic of children with learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism. I have written 3 books on managing, healing and preventing autism spectrum disorders by looking for root causes, not masking symptoms. I am presently semi-retired, giving lectures and workshops on demand, and enjoying travel, crafting, friends and family.
