Bio
Jack Dickerson was my good old Dad. Sweet heart, smiling face, big laugh. Worked hard. Enjoyed his life and the world around him. Loved his wife and kids and fishin' and junkin'. When the house and garage overflowed, he opened a shop and filled it with good primitives and painted furniture and antiques that called his name.
I'm his daughter Kris. I was America's worst office worker,so I quit my job and he let me play behind the counter with him for 26 years. I'm still there.
I sure miss my Dad, but Dickerson's is still a fun place to be. I'm still terrible at paperwork; I'm better at scouting out an ever-changing assortment of fun stuff for the shop: whimsical papergoods, cool toys, great gifts and vintage junk.
