Bio
I am a mother to two sets of twin boys (17 y.o and 7 y.o.). My 7 year old boys have special needs. One having autism and the other pdd-nos. They are very intelligent, curious and loving little boys. Their amazing big brothers cater to them as if they were their own. With the support of my husband, mom and bonus dad things run pretty smoothly in our home. I am currently pursuing a degree in community and human services with a concentration in psychology. My goal is to continue learning about the effects of nutrition, sensory input and the environment on brain development and behavior. With ChampionsforSpecialNeeds I hope to share ideas, information, resources, goals, tips and any other information that may make someone elses life a little bit easier. The main piece of information I would like to offer you is on the Premise Alert System. I encourage you to read about the program and decide for yourself if voluntarily completing and submitting a form to your local police and fire department is beneficial for your family member.
