Bio
My name is Leslie Abston. I am currently President and CEO of AbstonConsultingHRMs, Inc., a management consulting and organizational development company, based in the southern California town of Apple Valley, California. My background is in organizational leadership. I have a bachelor degree in behavioral science (California State University), a masters degree in organizational management (University of Phoenix), and a doctorate in business management (Argosy University). I also have over 30-years experience in management/leadership in the human services public and private sectors. AbstonConsultingHRMs (ACHRMS) opened its doors for business on November 11, 1999 and specialize working with companies in the human services sector. Since 2000, ACHRMS has provided organizational development and management training as an approved vendor with the State of California Department of Social Services to provide continuing education and recertification to short-term therapeutic residential facility administrators and to residential administrators for the elderly. Dr. Leslie Abston has published a 4-book series of training manuals in Trauma Informed Care starting in 2013 through 2018. Dr. Leslie Abston also taught courses in business, management, and international business at the California State University, Long Beach California from 2001 through 2007.
