Creative to the core, it's like breathing to me.
I love to play with my food, what can I say? I've been cooking since I was... well, before I hit those double digit years. That means I have over 30 years experience in the field. There's still plenty of room to improve. Plenty of room to experiment and many more spices to try.
My favorite food?
Garlic! Pecans come in second, a pace behind and yet a strong finisher in it's own right.
I love intense flavors. Those subtle ones are growing on me too as I explore flavors from different cultures. My favs are Southern, Tex-Mex, Italian, Kenyan, Middle Eastern, Asian & Indian--- please pass the naan!
I've been vegetarian for the past 20 years and wouldn't have it any other way. There are many things I don't have to worry about in food prep & storage.
I strongly believe we should be eating closer to how it comes out of the ground if we want to take the best advantage of how we were designed to process foods. Raw is fantastic, but in reality, its a very hard diet to follow for more than a month or two. I'm in the process of finding a healthy balance of uncooked & cooked foods to help in physical appearance & mental abilities.
As I have always been, I love cooking, I hate the cleaning part.
I need my own TV Show so I can have staff to clean up after me.
I don't dirty up all the counter space & dishes any more since I hate cleaning so much!
