Bio
We are a family of four ocean-loving adventurers: Simon, Lauren, Joey (arrived Aug. 2013), and Blake (joined the team Dec. 2015). Lauren is an ocean scientist minted at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego. She studies how people are changing the ocean, what it means for ocean ecosystems, and if there is anything we can do about it. On the blog we talk about science, being a science family, and sharing our passion for travel and adventure with our small children. We hope you enjoy following some of our adventures and exploits in love, life, and ocean science.
