Bio

I am a proud Yellow Jacket from Denham Springs, La., class of 1984. Leaving the doorstep of LSU to venture out on my own, I attended Northeast Louisiana University where I earned a BA in the summer of 1988 then worked as a graduate assistant in the sports information office later that fall. After six months in Franklin, La, I migrated to Mississippi in July of 1989, first to Meridian and then to Tupelo in 1993. I have covered all three Mississippi Division I teams at various times: Southern Miss for the Meridian Star and both Mississippi State and Ole Miss for the Daily Journal. Listen to our sports shows each Tuesday beginning at 4:30 on WAJS-FM (91.7) in Tupelo.
