Bio
At the age of 49, I finally became serious about learning to draw and exploring the visual arts as far as I could take it with the surprise of a lifetime and that is...I can draw! Though I am from a very artistic family and phenomenally talented mother, I never showed any real potential until October 2018 when everything I was learning clicked and did so at breakneck speed.
Now that August 2019 is winding down, it has barely been a year and I am setting up a website and searching for platforms to sell prints and other products with...gasp...original illustrations. I am so very proud of all my work and incredibly happy to be able to share it soon with anyone who loves my style.
In the end, mid century modern has become my favorite style. Though I have drawn more realistic animals and portraits, line drawings and bright, happy mid century modern prints have been my biggest hit with friends but most of all with myself.
