Bio
I'm a happy gym rat and have been for many years. I started lifting when I was 28. I was skinny-fat, meaning I was thin but had no muscle whatsoever. I was always intrigued by women who looked strong and had a shapely, muscular physique. Those women weren't present in my real life but an artist named Boris Vallejo painted women who had physiques I admired and then later I discovered bodybuilding magazines that featured women like Cory Everson and Rachel McLish. That was all I needed to ingite my passion. I walked through the doors of the gym 20 years ago and I've never looked back. For me, lifting is a sort of active meditation. It's a discipline. It brings order to my life. I find it to be a perfect stress reducer and it keeps me relaxed and happy...plus having a little muscle on my frame is a wonderful thing. I have a busy life with two boys to keep me on my toes but I always make time for the gym!
