Bio
Hello readers!
I am AJ a medical student in the United States.
I decided to write this blog for a few reasons:
1. To help me sort of vent the different feelings that I have experienced while going through medical school thus far and will continue to go through as I take my STEP 1 exam and start my clinical rotations.
2. To try and give people either outside of medicine or who are planning on going into the medical field some insight on what it's really like to be in medical school.
3. Hopefully to meet other people who truly want to make a difference in this world and come up with ways to do that together :)
Now a little about myself: I am in my mid 20s and am currently in between my second and third year of medical school. I am currently studying for my STEP 1 exam and hope to take it sometime in early August. When not studying, (which happens less and less often these past few years) I love playing/watching sports (esp. Basketball (Go HEAT!) and football (Go Buffalo Bills)), going to the movies, and reading books (that have nothing to do with medicine!).
I've never really written a blog before so if anyone wants to offer any advice I'd be more than happy to hear it! Thanks and I hope you enjoy it.
