Bio
About Us: My husband, Jim Byrne and I are joining forces to create home. He is Climate Scientist and I am a Renaissance Intellect. He is a hard core scientist with the soul of a singer. I am am academic with a soul more comfortable with quill and ink. We are building our first - and last - house together. We met, let's say, 8 years ago (the story is bound to come out). We have 7 children and 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson on the way. We 'work' at the University of Lethbridge. It is one of the few Liberal Arts Universities left in North America. We met and exist in that paradigm. Our greatest passion - apart from each other - is to wake up our fellow human's to the reality of the climate we live in, the climate our posterity will live in. Consequences. That which we do today, we will reap tomorrow. So, we are downsizing. A large and beautiful historic home for an energy efficient lodging. Saving our city, our environment, our immediate and future impact. Jim comes from science. I come from literature and history. We work. Can our vision of technology and science married with history and beauty work? This is the challenge, the excitement. Join us.
