Bio
I talk and I write in order to help other people. As an orthopedic surgeon I worked in India 4 1/2 years training surgeons and doing reconstructive surgery on people paralyzed by leprosy. I returned to Canada and for 20 years taught Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, and Sportsmedicine at the University of Waterloo as an Associate Professor. I did research and published 115 papers on hand surgery, anatomy, work-related injuries and chronic pain. My website: jubilation.uwaterloo.ca/~ranney will give you details.
Yet I had time for skydiving, fast cars, downhill skiing, wilderness canoe trips, and hiking in the Himalayas. God gave me a wonderful wife, Danielle, an artist with her own website: artmodern.org.
As a semi-retired person I now work two days a week, assessing motor vehicle accident victims for lawyers, and write fiction when I can. God has been so good to me that my passion is to show the love of God to others in what I do, say and write. My next novel will be about the God I know, whose love is boundless, who never punishes anyone, and even longs to forgive Satan.
