Bio
Dr Sharon Rundle, UTS Friend of Distinction, Professional member of the Institute of Professional Editors; Chair, UTS Writers’ Alumni. Co-editor of five anthologies of short fiction from Australia and South Asia. Co-creator and co-editor of Agathokakological Aussie Summer Mosaic of Stories; and Peacock Memosaic. Former Editor of the Society of Women Writers magazine Women’s Ink. Her stories, essays and articles appear in books, anthologies, journals, magazines, and have been broadcast on radio including: Relatively True; Glass Walls; Alien Shores; University of Technology Sydney anthology Seeds and Skeletons; Confluence UK; Claiming Space: Australian Women Writers; Transnational Literature; Southerly; Indo-Australian Relations: Retrospective and Prospective; Encounters Modern Australian Short Stories; New Ceylon Times; FemAsia; Desert in Bloom, Indian Women’s Writing in English; LiNQ; BBC Commonwealth Broadcasting Foundation; ABC radio; Round Table Writing; Round Table Magic; Changes and Chances; The Sydney Morning Herald; NewsWrite; Writers Connect; and Women’s Ink. She encourages international people to people links while nurturing new writing. She has taught at universities and presented conference papers in Australia, the UK and India. She was awarded the UTS Faculty of Education SMSA Award and Medal for Superior Academic Achievement; Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) 2012; and University of Technology, Sydney, Alumni Award for Excellence 2010 She has served on the Board of Directors and Management Committee of the NSW Writers' Centre.
