Bio
Hi, I'm Heather! I'm a blessed empty-nester with one kid living with us. When my husband, Mr. Matrimony, did a 7-month tour in Afghanistan, we decided to down-size from our circa 2005, 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 3,000+ square foot home, into our 100+ year old rental that boasts just over 1000 square feet, one bathroom, an office, and 2 bedrooms. So much of the home was literally destroyed by our renters. It was heart-breaking! But we got out our paint rollers and hammers, and fixed it up enough to live in. I promised Mr. Matrimony I will not spend a fortune on remodeling, and he's holding me to it! Friends asked me to start a blog to share some of my ideas. I hope you will enjoy it as well...
