Bio
Dustin Knouse is a Los Angeles writer and entertainer. He started his career in Las Vegas as a child actor. After high school Dustin was faced with two choices: either go to college and fall into a life long debt or be paid to risk his life for his country in the military. Given these choices he decided to run off and join a circus. He’s traveled the world learning, gathering stories, and entertaining people on nearly every continent. Observing cultures and befriending people from all walks of life, his experiences have inspired his vast variety of writing.
Dustin is currently attending Southern New Hampshire of University, finally achieving his Bachelor’s Degree in Creative writing with honors. He has written for The Examiner as a performance art reviewer. Dustin’s specialty is in screenwriting. He has interned as a writer for the hit Showtime series Penn and Teller’s: Bullshit and is currently writing for multiple web series that are in production.
Although writing is his obsession, Dustin is still a live performer. He performed a variety act at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at the world famous Crazyhorse, Paris as well as at V The Ultimate Variety Show at the Planet Hollywood. Currently, Dustin can be seen in theaters across the world and during his off time you can catch him polishing new material in front of audiences at the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California.
