Bio

Ed is a retired businessman/writer. For over 40 years he worked for F500 firms as an administrative manager in sales and marketing, speech writer, director of corporate events, and finally as director of executive support, reporting to the CEO and the Board of Directors. Ed traveled the world, running events, hosting client functions, and running executive presentations. Ed is also a writer. For 25 years he published The Jokesmith, a comedy newsletter for business and professional speakers. He wrote "We're Roasting Harry Tuesday Night, How to Plan, Write, and Conduct the Business/Social Roast." He also wrote "The Nana in the Chair," and two revised editions of Irish folk tales and family life in the Forties. He is currently working on a business humor book ("The Druids as Entrepreneurs, A Business person's Garden of Verse and other Poisonous Growths") and doing free-lance speech writing and speech augmentation.
