Bio
Edinburgh Student Surgical Society (ESSS) is a student-led organisation primarily for students aspiring to a career in surgery. The society organises events and tutorial sessions for student members with the aim of enabling them to learn basic surgical skills and knowledge relevant to a future career in surgery.
There are various tutorials planned for this year including: MCQ, Suturing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Orthopaedics Surgical Anatomy Tutorials. The society will also be hosting a series of lectures taken by consultants from a range of specialities to enable members to gain an insight into a career in various fields of medicine.
Tutorials and lectures are restricted to members of ESSS. Details of tutorials and lectures will be sent via email and also posted on Eemec discussion boards and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
