Bio
Legends tell that in the glorious year of nineteen hundred eighty-one, a child was born in a sleepy little coastal town on the Gulf Coast of North Florida. For the next 29 years, Brooks Edwards was educated, lived, loved, and worked within 100 miles of his birthplace. Then, while on a fateful west-coast trip to visit friends and family, Brooks was inspired to follow his dream of experiencing different lifestyles and environments.
To that end, he quit his job, overloaded his car, grabbed his faithful companion and hit the road for a one-month cross-country trip to Portland, Oregon. This blog finds him on the trail and follows his path to discovering history, culture, and the wonderful and curious things the U.S. has to offer.
