Bio
I have always been an avid reader and an aspiring writer. Over the years I worked as both a lawyer and a college professor.. These days I focus on writing.
In 2015, I entered a short-short story contest sponsored by the Miami Book Fair, one of the largest book fairs in the country. My story was one of the winners selected from over 600 submissions. In 2019, I received “Honorable Mention” recognition from the Writers of the Future contest for a story I submitted. I have also been a guest “Another View” columnist for the Sun-Sentinel newspaper, the largest circulation paper in South Florida. And I must add that I have received some delightfully encouraging rejection letters.
I'm grateful to my local library for providing me with a wonderfully supportive Writers Group and to my family for willingly reading (over and over again) my stories. ("David, just read this one more time, okay?")
