Bio
I am a classical acupuncturist trained in the tradition of the Chinese canonical writings of the huang di nei jing (黃帝內經 – the yellow emperor inner canon) and a practitioner of liu he ba fa (六合八法).
I feel part of the movement, defined as Classical Chinese Medicine, led by scholars like Jeffrey Yuen, and dr. Liu Lihong (author of the Chinese bestseller Rethinking Chinese Medicine) calling for a re-evaluation of Chinese medicine based on focusing on the classics.
Since July 2012 I have been working as a Programme Leader for the week end programme at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) where I also teach Point location, Chinese Medicine as well as being part of the College Clinic Supervisors‘ Team. In June 2013 having completed a PGCert in HE master at the University of Greenwich I became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
I am member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and my practice is covered by a full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
