Bio
For over 29 years, I have successfully operated at senior/executive level within ‘results driven’ front-line operational service environments and increasingly as the speed of change accelerates equipping organisations to adjust to the demands and challenges of the future. This has been both across the cultures of national private sector companies (facilities management) and in a diverse range of local authorities covering Metropolitan and Districts. Increasingly, as my career progressed this has also involved working with the important 3rd sector often within strong partnership frameworks. The opportunity to become involved with the ELR in a 'hands on' way as Bury Council’s Chief Executive, was particularly rewarding. Throughout this experience the development of all-encompassing partner driven strategies taken through to delivery to agreed deadlines has been central to my approach.
