Bio
E Maria Shelton Speller is a postmodern author and poet who began her career in the United States Air Force. She holds a BFA with honors from Northeastern University, and certifications in CPM and SSGB from George Washington University. As a member of the ZICA Creative Arts and Literary Guild and an original founding member of Boston's Zone Poets, E Maria's literary journey is marked by numerous accolades, including being an Oculus Launch Pad 2021 Member.
Her acclaimed work, "Spoken Live at the Lizard Lounge!," was published by Arula Records. E Maria has been a featured reader at prestigious venues such as the Lizard Lounge with the Jeff Robinson Trio, the Cantab Lounge, Squawk Coffeehouse in Cambridge, MA, Duomo in Berkeley, CA, Carol’s Books in Sacramento, CA, Bohemian Cavern in Washington, DC, and Studio 15 in Brentwood, MD. Her voice has graced the airwaves of Brandeis University Radio and the Underground Radio in Cambridge, MA. She currently resides in Washington, DC, and identifies as an INTJ.
