Bio
Debra Atlas is a successful environmental journalist, an author, a professional speaker and blogger. Her professional work focuses on critical environmental issues, eco-innovations, conservation and the possibilities that these present.
A busy journalist, Debra wrote a weekly newspaper column called Distinctly Green, which focused on the newest, innovative, affordable eco-friendly products. She's also branched out, profiling similar types of products on her radio feature, Eco Trends, which aired twice weekly for 2 years in Northern California.
As a professional blogger, Debra has covered environmental conferences, giving real-time accurate coverage for readers on critical environmental issues. She has written online for numerous informational web and blog sites.
Debra is also an author. Although not an environmentally-related book, it's none the less a crucial work. Published in August 2021, "You Aren't Depression's Victim" empowers readers and those who live with depression with practical strategies that enable them to stand up to depression and step back from the edge of its dark pit. In late 2023, Debra launched the audiobook based on this book. Both are available on Amazon, with the audiobook available on Audible and iTunes as well.
