Bio
Erica (Mars) Roach is an EFL Instructor studying English and Korean at the University of Maryland, College Park in the Department of English and the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. As part of 2020’s 388V program – a program connecting undergraduates to English teachers within UMD as Undergraduate Teaching Assistants (UTA) – Mars worked as an UTA for the EFL section of Academic Writing. Mars achieved 120 Hours of TEFL Certification through CultureRoute’s online certification program and is currently working on a K-12 roster of lesson plans suited to a diverse scale in language proficiency.
