Bio
Troy Foster is a journalist and entrepreneurial filmmaker. He spent nine years in the newspaper industry – four as a student, five as a professional. With the obsolescence of "print" journalism looming, Foster decided to leave the newspaper industry in 2006. He cashed out his stock options, 401(k) and other savings to spend the next year and a half traveling, bartending and working at a ski area before going back to graduate school for an MBA.
Troy is currently pursuing a new adventure in new media. He formed an LLC to be the vehicle for his freelance journalism and is traveling the United States with two of his best friends doing human interest stories and featurettes on American's fascination with baseball.
