Bio

With over three decades of expertise in commercial offset printing, packaging, and folding carton operations, Jan is an independent print consultant, G7® Expert, and master lithographer. He works with commercial printers, packaging converters, and security printing facilities across North America, South America, the Caribbean, the UAE, and Mexico — delivering press operator training, G7 colour management, lean manufacturing, and process optimization from within the production floor. His technical foundation runs deep. A graduate of Dawson College's photography program, Jan understands image reproduction on both sides of the camera. The discipline of light, density, and tonality that defines a great photograph defines a great press sheet — a perspective that informs every calibration, every make-ready, and every training program he delivers. Jan believes press operators are the most consequential variable in any print quality system. Coaching and developing frontline workers is not a secondary concern; it is the engine of sustainable waste reduction, consistent colour output, and measurable improvement in press performance. Whether conducting on-press demonstrations or designing structured training programs for offset lithography operations, Jan holds one conviction: technical excellence and human development are inseparable.
