Bio
Social and Mental Health Consultant, Advocate, multi-media expressionist and International Journalist,
This blog "Contains Sensitive Material. Viewer Discretion is Advised."
South Africa/Apartheid Regime: Farina lived in "hiding" due to an inter-racial "marriage," considered illegal; she faced arrest if caught. She lives with the consequences to this day. Farina has worked through racial, gender, cultural and inter- faith challenges in the relationship of 36 years. Farina worked through immigration and settlement challenges: bullying in schools; culture conflict; loss of extended family support, change of weather, powerlessness (an inability to be with her mother and two brothers through four years of agonizing ordeals); lives with survivor guilt and much more. She turned her emotional pain, regret, sorrow remorse, anger into a productive endeavor. To heal and help heal humanity.
