Bio
Peggy Zaman is a Fashion and Intellectual Property Law consultant. A former professional tennis player as well as an international fashion buyer, she recently completed an LLM from Santa Clara University specializing in IP law. Peggy has practiced in Australia and New York and has over 15 years diverse experience in fashion and law.
Peggy advises on fashion & industrial design laws including IP issues (trademark, copyright, design patents), infringement (counterfeiting & knockoffs), start-ups, luxury and brand marketing, fashion modeling law, rights of publicity, fashion financing, licensing, ethics & sustainability, corporate social responsibility, labor & employment law and import/export laws.
Besides fashion law Peggy is very interested in legal issues of the sports of tennis and cricket.
