Bio
"The camera captures what the eye chooses to ignore."
This is what I tell myself every time I pick up my camera. It is amazing what I see looking through the glass that I would surely have missed during any given moment of any given day without it. This is the bug that has bitten me.
My love of photography started when I was very young. As a child, I would always admire photographs taken by my uncle who has been a photographer for as long as I can remember. As a young boy, I managed to convince my uncle to sell me his old 35mm film SLR camera that I still have to this day. My interest has never stopped growing and within the past few years I have spent much time, study and effort enhancing my knowledge of the profession and I will continue to do so for as long as I am able. Why? For me there is nothing better than the expression on a client's face when they see the final results of their photo shoot. I'm not happy until I see their eyes (and their smiles) widen.
Many thanks to all of my friends, family and clients for their kind thoughts and words. And a very special thanks to my wife, Heidi, for her never-ending support during my pursuit of a lifelong dream.
I'm not a photographer because I want to be, I'm a photographer because I have to be.
